Fusible link question ?may have to make a correction...

I've done my own wiring, starting years ago.
At that time I placed a 60 amp fusible link
Right off the alternator. Well, I actually had a 37 amp alt
I found an 80 amps square back and got it on my 360.

Now I have an 80 amps alt and a 60 amp fusible link.

You need at\least 80 amp link. 100 is better.....

I deleted the fusible links on my last rewire in favor of a fuse box full of maxifuses from a newer junkyard refugee and also added a 2nd redundant hot wire off of the alternator. I don't like the spade terminal connector at the end of the valve cover (85 d150) to carry all that current when the alternator has to work anywhere close to full tilt, especially now that it's nowhere near new anymore...
