Anyone have a street driven G3 with a motor plate?

Does your upper water opening look like this?

Do you use a Big Block Chevy electric water pump?

Any cooling issues?

I know this is a month old but I just saw it.
I made my own plate, making a template out of lexan so I could see everything.
Mine is drag car but doesn't get over 180 degrees.
I used a water neck with oring from a 5.9 magnum engine.
