Gas gauge not working.

I have seen questions about non working gas gauges and gas tank grounds, well this original and rusty item is a gas tank ground, without this there is nothing grounding the send unit and is usually the reason for the gas gauge not working

I think someone is reproducing them but not sure. It clamps to the steel line mounted to the chassis and passes over the short rubber line that connects to the hard line on the send unit at the tank and clamps there.

I've made a jumper out of a piece of stranded copper wire and 2 little hose clamps. One clamp on the metal line, holding the wire to the metal. Worked in a pinch.
