I installed my throttle linkage and gas pedal mount. Now all that's left is installing the original gas pedal pad onto the factory gas pedal linkage and I cannot see how it goes. I searched but cannot find anything, everything is complete, I just dont know how to assemble it. Any advice much appreciated!

It's cable operated and there and it bolts to the intake bracket.

Got it, Thanks for the help, There is a pin that goes through the pedal shaft that takes a half-moon clip. Putting the half-moon clip on now with a mirror and a midget contortionist, like most things on this effen car!

Lol,mine has a hole in it and take a hairpin clip. Make sure you adjust the cable at the carb so there a little slack, not much...maybe an 1/8"

Posting a few random photos on my build thread today. I bit the bullet and ordered Lokar throttle and kickdown kits with the required bracked kit. Got it all installed yesterday and verified. Just waiting for a grandson to come over to verify the kickdown setting, the directions are real clear. Nice stuff that Lokar product, better thank I had hoped.
