I have a vent tube at the half way mark on my new gas tank.
How should I terminate it???
Take it up to a charcoal can?
If i plug it then I need a vented gas cap correct??
The car is more go than show and don't care about original

I did a search and some say to cap it off but then how does the gas tank vent???
A vented gas cap??

I plugged mine, and I have a cap with a relief valve built in. I have been told with high pro fuel you dont want it vented it will loose octane/power.

Ever seen a full gas can filled and capped in the morning in the afternoon on a hundred degree day.Get a vented cap. Does the filler neck have a place to tie the two together. Thats how my 66 is with a vented cap.Without a vent it will suck a vacuumn when its running till it shuts down from fuel starvation.
