Hi,
I recently bought a numbers matching 71 340 Demon and have been doing some research on the A body dash clusters. I have a small side business, (www.thegaugedoc.com), restoring the electroluminescent dash clusters for the first generation Chargers. I own both a 66 and 67. I found that the resistance values for thermal gauge operation (temp, oil press, fuel) are the same for A body gauges as they are for the 66/67 Chargers. Amazing that Chrysler actually kept some things the same! I also replace the decals on the gauge faces with the overlays made by Premium Dash Decals. I can do the same for the A body clusters I'm sure.
Anyways, if anyone needs help with their gauges, I offer my help.
Thanks,
Mark
