what type of glue do you guys recommend using on the gauge cluster pods, a lot of the super glue says "does not recommend on plastic" in am restoring the dash cluster on my 68 Tuna.

Don't think I have ever used glue on a guage pod.

I took apart the clusters gauge pods and glass, now im ready to put everything back together. if no glue was used, what keeps the pads from raddling around?
Pods ? First lets get more detailed.
What you have starting in the front.... A center cone, then a clear plastic lens, then a metal frame.
All of these smaller parts were attached to the bezel with melt stakes cast in the white plastic parts. If those stakes aren't long enough to re assemble the bezel, There are a few ways to repair this. One is to rebuild the stakes with donor abs plastic. Another is use Devcon Home 2 part epoxy. So which stakes are short ? those in the bezel or those in the center cones ?
