I just bought a 71 Demon 340 and have done some research on the gauges. I have a small side business, www.thegaugedoc.com, restoring 66/67 Charger EL gauge clusters. It seems the resistance values to calibrate the A body gauges in the mid to late sixties and early seventies A bodies is the same, meaning my rebuilding and calibration equipment would work on the thermal gauges (oil press, temp, fuel). I also replace the dash overlays on the Charger EL faces for each gauge using the decals from Premium Dash Decals. I'm sure I could do the same for the A body gauges. If anyone is interested, please let me know.

Thanks,

Mark

Hmmm sounds like you might get some business.. I think all my gauges are good but i remember seeing some guys on here askin bout getting theirs rebuilt. You gonna cut discounts for FABO members? It might help you get your name out for the a body guys :D

Since alot of my work revolves around the EL portion of the 1st Gen Charger gauges, I'll need to come up with a separate price list for doing the A body gauges. I will cut the FABO folks a break on my labor rates for sure....
