Yeh, boring, right? There were actually several styles over the years I would estimate the one below to be late 60's early 70's

As opposed to this mid 50's up into early 60's

Yeah, Sun and Stewart-Warner. Sometimes liquid filled industrial gauges.

Stewart Warner's, simple and clean. I have Sun Blue Line gauges in my car along with an older Autometer trans temp gauge and mechanical Moroso tach. Sun

also made Green Line gauges. Both the Sun products are stupid pricey nowadays.
