My opinion is they are just for the noise so that makes them "bling". There is no performance advantage using them over a good quality true roller timing chain set. Gear drives can actually lessen performance if you use a distributor because the harmonics generated and passed thru the cam can cause spark scatter. I would buy the Milodon if I were to buy one though.
