We do a bunch of EFI conversions in my shop. I don't recommend running that much rubber hose in any fuel system, and really don't with a higher pressure EFI system. Under that braided sleeve us still a rubber hose that eventually dry rot. I prefer to run as much hard line as possible, and use the PTFE lined braided hoses for the transitions from hard line to the tank and engine sides. I like Fragola fittings and hose (I think Parker makes their hose for them). I also like Aeroquip hose and fittings.

Aeromotive makes a couple different pressure regulators that can be configured for either EFI or carb pressure.

The cheep hose is just that. Cheep. Goodridge and XRP fuel hose are really good and will stand up to gas and shitty street gas. Only problem is that it’s super expensive. But with any hose it has a shelf life and should be changed out every few years.

Myself as well as every turbo ls guy that has 2 nickels to rub together have had good luck with the evil energy ptfe stuff. So far I have had zero issues with it. Good fittings, assembles nice, and I had zero leaks. The entire car was done with this stuff. -8 supply -6 return y block at the fuel rail, and -6 trans lines. Have had over 100psi on them and zero issues.

I wouldn't trust a knockoff regulator, I bought an Aeromotive bypass regulator for $150 which I think is worth the price premium. The cheap AN lines will probably be just fine for a little while, the rubber liner will harden and degrade very quickly compared to quality lines especially when subjected to ethanol.

I went Aeromotive for my regulator but used an Evil Energy PTFE kit from Amazon for lines up to the regulator and Evil Energy rubber braided line from regulator to carb. It's only been in a year but so far so good.

Ever tried to put together hoses with generic AN hose ends?
They easily strip out.
I just went thru this running fuel line plumbing using Summit hose ends, which were obviously MADE IN CHINA.
I always try to save a buck using the generic Summit stuff, but I will never use their hose ends again.
My fingers gonna be sore for a good week.

Buy the Earls or Russell brand hardware. Precision made.
