Before you guys say USE THE SEARCH FUNCTION I have. I read all of the old posts. It says push in the little tab mine does not have a little tab. I have spent 30 minutes trying to push a non-existant tab. I went and got out my dash from my 72 Duster and it was out in like 10 seconds but this one is from a 74 Valiant and it is different. Please help.
 
Ok I finally took a small screw driver and a hammer and tapped from the inside to push the knob off. It pushed the little washer that stops the lock tab from coming out of the housing off but I put it back on. It seems that the knob was about a 1/4 inch off and would not turn back far enough for me to see the lock tab.
 
Good direction, I just done my 73 Duster latch and took all of 45 seconds, thanks for the post
