I have a 71-76 glove box door with a key lock, how can i get apart with out the key? i'd rather not use the caveman method, the wood trim is really nice.

ooo, ooo, I know this one....
Since you have the keyed variety you should be able to get to it from inside the glove box, there is a little tab that clips the front (chrome part) to the barrel. If it was the non keyed type there would be a hole in the front. I'm not sure if you can get to the clip from inside the key opening, but its worth a shot.
