GOLD interior for my '65 barracuda.

Here's the deal. I have original gold interior in my car. Some previous owner re-covered any of the interior that needed it with a different color. Has anyone ever done any dying of seats and such?? I would hate to just rip it out and start over right now. I dont have the money right now to do any interior overhauling. I would like to just make it all as close to the original gold color as possible for now 'till I can afford to re-do the whole thing. Anyone????

The dye would likely need to be a custom mixed color. Its not cheap.
It'll wear off off seats and armrests pretty quick too.
