Finally got to hit the local track again. I had put new slicks on and was hoping for improvement. The weather cooperated while we ran time trials. My car had been slowing down and I was worried the converter was going away. Well the temp was only in the upper 70's and the air was excellent. First pass was a decent 10.518 at 127.25 mph with a 1.51 60' . Second pass was better yet. Car pulled the wheels and went 10.407 at 129 mph with a 1.40 60'. We were hoping for a 3rd time trial but some chevy broke and soaked the track down with tranny fluid. Then came the rain. Oh well at least the car felt good. FYI took the Goodyear's off and put Hoosiers back on.
