years back, I was at Mopar Nat. it was sat, the place packed with cars and people (10,000 per day) everywhere. plenty of good and not so desirable parts in the swap area. 1000 vendors.

I was walking thru the cars in the fun field, streams of people walking by, I see this b body pistol grip shifter, hand and box sitting on ground beside this guys car, shifter in perfect condition. I asked it that for sale??? he said yes, like to have $40....... I asked how long you been trying to sell that?????

he said several HOURS!!!! I told him that's a very cheap price for it, can' t believe no one tried to buy it! he would be happy to sell it and get his $40. I paid him and left with my prize. worth at that time about $200.

go figure.

awesome deal, I paid 650 for my b body pistol grip in 1977, was attached to a 70 super bee for sale in the credit union on the airforce base, my first stick car, I drove it home!
