Alan is from Omaha and found a 66 Dart , a Valliant and a couple other
vintage Mopars in a local salvage yard. I bought some 66 Dart parts that
Alan pulled and sent to me. I un-packed them today and was very pleased.
All were very good condition, just as described and carefully packed. I will stop buy his place over Thanksgiving to pick up a front bumper I got also.
This is a big public "Thanks" to Al for what he did. Thanks! Toolmanmike

:cheers:Thanks Mike for the vote of confidence. The best thing I have is my reputation. It can take years to make a good one and about a minute and a half to ruin it! I just do the best I can and try to be honest.
I am betting the next time I hit the yard the Dart and Valiant will be no more!
I didn't leave much to get either!
If anybody is waiting on parts and hasn't heard back yet, drop me a PM. I'm trying to remember just who was going to get the Dart's headlite doors!
I't fun trying to fit this in between life's usual distactions and physical therapy visits!
I don't think I'm going to quit my paying job yet, (see second pic below) I'm not greedy enough to make a living at parts sales!
Thanks again,
Alan Hynes

I just want to chime in and back up the good reputation, got my parts from Alan today and I have to say I was amazed. They were cleaned up and shiny like no tomorrow, you would have thought they came off a nice car, not out of a junkyard. Its quite evident that some elbow grease went into cleaning them up and I'm more than thankful.
Anyone who has the chance to buy parts from Alan should not worry about a thing, he has come through like a true champion!!!!!
thanks!!!!!!!!!!

I would rather buy clean parts from somebody than filthy ones, I assume others would too. As long as they don't add outrageous fees for the service....I can't say enough about what Super Clean degreaser and a little fine cut polish did for these parts, you should have seen what I started with! Still, I didn't spend that much time on them.
I think the Super Clean used to be sold by Castrol, this stuff is in a purple 1 gallon jug I bought at Wal-Mart, and the job it did was after I cut it about 8 or 10 to 1 with water! Use it straight, and the smell will kick your ***! And it's also hard to rinse clean at full strength. It's good stuff! it whoops up on grease and mildew, believe me!
Glad you guys are pleased with your parts, and thanks for the kind words!

By the way, Anybody have a A body 4 speed (trans only) they might want to get rid of early next year? Keep me in mind.
Mine has had a bunch of exotic race only mods done to it, not sure how easy a slick shift crashbox is to live with in a multi-purpose car.
Alan
