Not only is the sunofabitch RUNNING, I actually drove it! Damn thing idles like a Pro Stock... :shock:
After breaking in the cam, I took my Wife Amy out for the first drive. It ran real good! I still have to play with the carbs, install the MSD ignition system, and get some real gas in it, but she does seem to go pretty well. I kept the RPM's under 3,000 for the little bit I drove it tonight. Tomorrow I have to warm it up, adjust the valves,change the oil, and get some 110 in the tank.

I'm amped up on this, for sure! :drunken: I'm looking forward to really running her good!

Header bolts. E`nuff said.This should be required therapy for recovering addicts. It'll teach you the meaning of patience and focus.

90 Degree filter installation was a breeze, as was the mini starter with headers. I wish I had gone with a set of TTI's though.... Hooker's quality sucks. They're 3 yrs. old and look 100. :roll:

Here I am smiling for my Wife. 2 Hours later I was ready to bite through a breaker bar when my pal left the radiator cap off and soaked my freshly assembled engine while it was breaking in. Everything under the hood is soaked with anti-freeze. %$#& ! :evil:

I took some video clips of her running. I'll try and figure out how to get them posted here. As for now, I'm cooked. It's almost 11:00pm and I still need a shower.

Oooo..... bad idea. The car is soooooo friggen UGLY! Black base coat & lots of dents.... gray primer may be in order until I can get settled in the new house and I have some spare time.

Maybe after I hose it off and clean the windows... It has been sitting for almost a year. I guess I could snap a pic or two tonight. Compared to your car Brett, my car is a total corn cobb :puker:
 
Congrads, that's got to have you pumped up!, and don't worry about paint, it's a mopar, they always look cool! :D I'd go with back primer for now it will just make it look even meaner :wink:
I'll probably forget to install my exhaust pipes when I fire up this motor :twisted:
 
yah! flat black primer!! give it that old school hot rod look, you can play off of that until you actually get it painted or whatever youre gonna do to it :)

meh.. whatever. its still cool.

Congrats!!!Yeah we want pics.Most of our cars were "corn cobs"as you say at one time.
