It may sound wierd but i'm looking for a cheap forged stroker kit for my fuel injectected, forced induction dart project. i'm thinking of going with speed o motives forged kit, also have heard good things about hughes kits, and muscle motors. But i keep in mind that with my dakota R/T hughes was not highly reccomended at all. any input will be greatly appreciated

Doesnt sound weird. But what's your definition of cheap? It may be impossible. Callies and K1 make some good products.

A buddy of mine has a Hughes 408 kit with stage 2 ported iron heads from Hughes in his 94 Dakota short box with a blower on it and it's a beast! No issues thus far.

I use Scat cranks and I beam rods for most builds and that helps keep the bobweight down over H beam kits.
Only time you need an H beam is if your going over 700HP...if you are, I hope you have an R block!!
I think the cheapest kits have Eagle stuff but sometimes the cranks need grinding because of some amount of taper on the journals.

Also, those kits should include race bearings with .001 extra clearance because the cranks all come cut to the high side of spec. and with regular type bearings your clearances will be tight.
Keep all that in mind and ask questions before you buy.
