Any of you smart folks remember how to identify the date of manufacture of this tire? It is an F70-14 Goodyear Polyglas.

MD LD is the plant code, Y20 is the tire type, 231 is the date, 23rd week of 1971 I believe

These tires are still soft and drive as bad/good as they did new. They hook up like slicks with my 340 and a 3.55. Amazing how well they work with these little engines. More amazing is how well they have held up but they have been hiding in my basement and covered up for almost 30 years. They look better than some three year old tires we see at our shop....
