Not much put there on this heads but would it be able to handle a sum-6901 cam with the stock springs on it? I'm putting it on a 360
 
It would, but I would go slightly past a stock set of valve springs and retainers to something like a comp 901 spring and some aftermarket retainers and locks. That's a good torquey cam in a mostly stock 360, though.

Would that change push rod length? Would it still be the stock 7.5inch

Plus the fact that those heads *could* have valve rotators on them- get rid of those at all costs.
 
On getting an idea on the pushrod length, try a pair of stock pushrods on #1 @tdc and see how much lifter preload you have, or get a pair of length checking adjustable pushrods to set for .040 preload.

Yeah I just ordered pushrod checkers, but im playing the waiting game for everything, for anything to be shipped, dealing with Fedex losing my packages
