Beautiful day for a cruise in my '67 Barracuda . This is a home built ride, 383 4 speed. What an absolute blast to drive this thing .

For those of you who remember me, I did a thread on this car called Ugly Bastard.

It's not perfect, but it's fun as hell .

By that I mean, I tried not to spend a dime on it. The whole car was put together with junk from the parts cars out back. It had a 360 & 727 in it when I got it, and should have been a parts car. Everything that went into it was recycled parts.

Mine is completely home built too , but I spent a ton of $$ on it !! Insured for $32,000 , aint sure wheather that would cover it !!
 
That’s a nice looking homemade notch!!

The roads are dry over here on the mainland too but there was still a pile snow blocking my garage. With that now shovelled I plan on going for a drive in the Scamp today.... the first one of 2019.
 
I like the "home built" theme. This is where the building of our old Mopars started from!!!!! Good pat is yo had parts/parts cars to work from. Try finding any old Mpar in a boneyard older than 2000!!!!!!
I talked to owner of old yard in Conroe, 30m N of Hoouston. He had 2 80's pickups. that's all. He did not know where to even send me as to boneyards! He was building a TrailDuster.

There is an 80`s something longbed 2 doors down, been parked for over a yr. , and looks to be inpretty darn good shape ! I would be all over it if it was a shortbed !!

Nice truck, but a waste of time and rubber, to me its about hooking up--------"as if mine does !""
 
I would like to see if he just heated the tires a little and then launched it without the power braking it to see what it does hook up like. It looked like he flat spotted his front tires with the front brakes from it pushing so far to get that burnout started.
