I will stay with the 360/4 speed in my 66 B-cuda. Using Moparts charts, they call for a 26" tire on 2800lbs, to reach 117mph @ a 12.1 et @5800 rpms. That calls for about 330 t0 350 rear wheel hp. If what I hear is true, you lose about 25% (on the dyno) from the clutch to the rear, so I'd need about 430 hp up top. Does that sound right to you guys? If so how much stretching am I gonna have to do to a 360 to get those numbers? I'm a 440 guy, so this sb stuff is new to me. Somebody wanna lay out a 425 horse 360 for me? Thanks guys.

I'm not sure about how much you lose from the clutch to the wheels, but I would definately be interested in just how much is lost, also how much from an auto.....but in answer to your question, this link should work, if not, just go to the tech archives and look on the second page for this. Combo 6 I think is 430 hp, I think the next one is 450 hp, I'm sure others can help you more though...
