You can set how long the poll to run X days other ways it will run till someone else post a poll so it could be here for a long long time

did a battery relocation in the trunk of my 66. did 1/0 braided strap from battery to rear sub-frame, 1/0 braided strap from front sub-frame to engine mount block ear, and 4 gauge braided strap from passengers side head to firewall. No issues sofar! power side is 1/0 braided stereo cable (stinger) from battery to distribution post on the firewall to feed everything else. works like it should.

I don't even read what you post...I just stare at that rally accident vidoe for minutes on end! LOL ....OK. your'e talking about battery cables.....hey, there it goes again!

Uuuuummm.....not true; my son's '03 Dakota and my '07 Ram have ground straps from firewall to engine; the Dakota has 3 or 4 total! I bet I'll find some on my '09 Challenger if I go look. And my wif'e's '93 Caravan had 1 or 2........(I am talking about braided straps not some flat copper strip, BTW..... yes, they are plated).

And the flexing on most starter cables is over a 1'-2' length; firewall to head straps that I see tend to be a lot shorter and it is the movement versus length that is critical; short lengths obviously get a lot more degrees of bending per inch.

Agreed, My 08 Jeep Wrangler and my 07 Dodge Caliber both have ground straps from the engine to firewall.

Jock strap or jock cable????

Does it really matter as long as you have a good ground???

Good ground or not good ground, that is the question....

I think my torque strap/cable also serves as a ground engine to frame
