you still got like a week!

same boat, i'm paddling like mad. car is mostly together, but need to find a driveshaft shop, currently.

likely just wind up there selling in the swap

Just an update! Got my heads back from the machine shop ready to bolt on. I was thinking of installing the 5.9 with out the cylinder heads into the car, so it would be easier to get the bolts on the back on the engine, and less of a chance of messing up my long tube headers?

Also I have exactly 30 Days to finish the motor, pull my engine that’s already in the car , and install this 5.9 30 days because my local drag strip will be closing for good on dec 5 for the street car Thursday night 1/8.....

Get er done! And let me know when you go to Irwindale. We’ve been trying to go to as many events there as we can because the end is near. This Saturday we’ll be there for the last Nitro Revival.

Has anyone ever heard of Magnum heads dropping seats?
Most of the factory 5.2 and 5.9 Magnum heads had seats cut right into the head casting itself, so there is no seat insert to drop out. However, there was a few vehicles originally sold to run on compressed natural gas and those heads supposedly got hardened valve seat inserts installed, so those few could theoretically end up with a dropped seat, although I still never heard of a dropped seat on a Magnum.

Waiting on some pushrods, used my checker got all the slack out at 6.962 adding .050 for preload ending up with 7.015
