My 340 is supposed to be going into the dyno next week after spending over nine months at the engine shop. I'm really curious what it will make. Why doesn't everybody take a guess and when it finally happens I'll list the numbers and a video of the pull.
The winner gets my everlasting respect!
Here are the specs:
340 + .030
stock stroke steel crank
worked stock rods
11.77:1 compression
Ported W2 econo heads, 2.02 and 1.60 valves
1.5:1 HS roller rockers
Ported Victor Jr. intake
Holley 750 HP Pro carb
TTI 1-7/8" headers
Solid custom grind cam, dual pattern (I'm guessing on the exact specs since the engine builder has the cam card. I will update this tomorrow, but this should be pretty close)
Intake = .570 lift and 248' @.050", 108 CL
Exhaust = .548" lift and 260' @ .050", 110 CL
MSD ignition
The engine is going into my 71 Duster
3150# w/ driver
Manual shift 727 and 8" Cheetah TC
8.75 axle w/ 4.89:1 gear set
Ask any questions and I will try to answer them before the dyno pulls.
Thanks.
