Thanks to all that helped keep/preserve the freedoms that we enjoyed and seem to be diminishing as time passes on. 
At a Veterans Day event yesterday. Ran into this.
Daddy's ship, the USS Hilbert DE742 decked out in her "going to kick ***" sea going camo paint.
Thank you to all who have served and all who continue to serve. Your sacrifice can never be repaid.
That's cool Rusty. A Destroyer Escort. My Dad was on the USS Edmonds. A DE as well.
Super cool! Those little ships saw tons of action, too.
Happy Veterans Day to all Vets, living and deceased. Thank you for your blood, sweat, tears, your heroism and in some cases, your lives. You have made this a great place to live and I salute all of you. Thanks for seeing to it that we are all safe. And to those of you that spit on Vets, ridiculed Vets, fought against what Vets stand for and treated them like a step child at a family reunion, I say this to you "MAY YOU AND YOURS BURN IN HELL."
