heavy cast aluminum deep dish
from a dodge dealer in 1970.
just curious what they were intended for.

Those were available on all 1969 Plymouth models, if used on the Barracuda you had to run the 5.5 wide rims, they were the high option cover. They were even available on the 'Cuda models!!

Woops, They say Plymouth, LOL I guess I didnt see them on a Charger, LOL

they came on this i just nabbed off clist. the car has deep rims. the guy showed me pics of the car on the showroom floor and said the dealer had them on it in feb 1970. he was the original owner until last week.
weird move on the dealers to put plymouth caps and rims on a dodge swinger
love the tires too. too bad he left it covered under a lean to for so many years. but i have the will to bring her back to life... 35000 original miles 4 speed 340 8.75 with reverse lockout still intact.

Probably had them lying on the shelf, at they slapped them on the Dart and ditched the dog dish caps to dress it up.

thx dave the minute i saw it i called him he had 23 voicemails with #'s to call.
Some rough areas but i can restore it back to original, I NEVER PART A CAR THAT HAS POTENTIAL, IF IT IS ROTTED,PARTED, WRECKED BEYOND STRUCTURAL REPAIR, WELL THATS A DIFFERENT STORY.
KIND OF LIKE ALL THE CARS I HAVE IN MY BARN NOW. i laugh i could throw one together and drive it longer and cheaper than buying a new car nowadays.
it has everything as it came off the floor.
Couldn't believe had reverse lockout, manifolds tach everything still in place. Hubcaps threw me for a loop till i saw the showroom picture when he bought it for his wife.
Ill be looking to buy some original parts off members to get her back to 1970 again.

What a find !! Good luck restoring it , can't wait to see it done up . By the way dealers often did that , my mother like the plymouth hub caps , so the dealer put them on her Dart .
