Having a ***** different heads!!!

well it starts off like this ive pulled down the 273 to give it a full rebuild and i find out that one Head is different than the other its suppose to have the close chamber 902s which one is but the other has the 675 open chamber?????? WTF I was quite surprise it ran well considering, Now i need to find another with a 902 casting.

Thats friggin weird. You would figure it would of ran like crap. Fuel mixture would be way off between sides of the engine.

Or a set of closed chamber 302 heads.

yeah just getting some prices at the moment, and i found 3 lifters where the centre cap had sunken further in which was causing the excessive lash on the rocker side,well ive scored a 318 block 40 up all machining done and im taking the forged crank from the 273 and will be putting the rest in storage and build this 318 for a nice 325-350 hp run about.I have ordered alot of goodies for the 273 which i will transfer to the 318 build as the only thing i had to reorder were the pistons in which i have ordered some KBs 167 from summit.
