Has anyone seen any upper control arms with bump stops like these in the picture? I haven't seen any like this before. The brackets look like they are welded by the factory.

It's a 1966 Valiant wagon. May be able to get some pics tomorrow. Instead of the rubber bumper bottoming out on the "dimple" on the a-arm, there are identical brackets welded to the upper arm. You can see (not very well) the bracket that the bumper is squished onto.

My '66 S control arm... No bracket on it, a pocket is formed in the control arm.

Im with Cliff on this. My UCA's are stamped wide up front to give the bump stop plenty of surface area. Your UCA's look tubular to me. and would require a bump stop pad to be welded on.

I'm wondering if Marvin's wagon has the same brackets as his wagon is built quite similar to mine.

I will check it as early as possible, but not before the second half of April, because my wagon is actually stored....Winter in Austria.

Interesting anyway....
