he wants to trade what? WTF

-
I say good for him. If he doesn't want that car, it might as well be sold to someone who would appreciate it. For example: my big block Duster; I sold it for what I had in it, which was very little, so someone that wanted a big block 71 Duster got a smoking deal and I got more money to put towards building my 65 Barracuda.

Maybe some young gun interested in this A-body will jump at the chance to own a piece of Mopar vintage? This guy will be kickin himself in a few years.JMO

at least he's not trying to rice the barracuda out. i'd rether him get rid of it and get what he wants, if not he'll destroy this car.

...................ugh... some people... So disappointing.

I guess he lives in that part of Michigan where those are worthless in comparison to what he wants similar to those on this board where one needs parts but doesn't want to pay real world prices or where one wants the car but doesn't want to pay its worth.

mopardrt, we cannot put the guy down just because he's not like us here. Whats sad is you not calling him to find out what he'll take for the car as you're in Detroit close to him

Probably needs work, and cant be bothered investing some time and effort into it, he would rather have his civic, and be able to get whatever he needs from Pepboys or autozone. Someone in MI call this kid and buy it outright.

It's typical of today's youth who all want to be like everyone else instead of actually having their own personality and tastes.

Here is another one whats up with these people ???

http://jacksonville.craigslist.org/cto/2056575275.html

Looks like he already put some FWD import wheels on it. I don't understand why they want to drive cars just like all their buddies are driving. I could throw a rock over my shoulder in a parking lot and it would probably hit a Honda (or Mustang). Both these knuckleheads have cars that could set them apart from the crowd of lemmings, but they'd rather be a lemming.

I'm trying to figure out why the kid in the second post says that insurance for that dart is crazy... I have a daily driver 68 camaro and my insurance is 76 bucks for 6 months.... covered well over the value of the car???

Somebody that lives near his area should just ask him what he'd take for his old "clunker" lol. Maybe offer to take it off his hands.

I'm trying to figure out why either or these two people are being beaten up for doing what they want or need to. If they don't want the cars, no big deal. I've seen some pretty cool mods to modern cars too, and they are all about personalizing. So what's the big deal?
