Header Applications for a Turbo Install

Got kind of a specialized header recommendation request. I'm looking for headers for a 360 going into my '71 Scamp. But here's the twist...I'm looking for headers that I can turn around and use as the basis for plumbing my turbo.

I'd like full length tubes rather than shortys, but something that hugs the motor. Summit has truck headers that would work except they don't fit Edelbrock heads. Cheaper is better since they will be getting cut. Any ideas would be appreciated.

I would try a set of spitfires.

Anything with the correct flange….. You will be totally altering them anyway.

With all the negative posts about Spitfires, I'd be afraid to order them. Too bad, too, because they sound like they'd be perfect. Just not worth the verbal abuse I'd have to take from Abodyjoe if I ordered some! :bootysha:

He send them c.o.d. now. Cant your turbo guy make them ? I dont see it being much more work then modifying a set.

Yeah, he CAN make them, but he said it would cost me about $1200!! He suggested buying a set to be modified as a way to save me some $$$.
