Picked this up at The Rock today.
Was told it was on a pickup. I believe the guy.
Are these Clifford headers for a early a- body?

I'm thinking early a- body will fit a truck just fine. But l know "truck headers" won't fit early a- body.View attachment 1715559693
    Any info is appreciated.

Well, since a couple of the moderators like to move / delete / alter posts, maybe one of them can do it for me.

I'm old school. Piece of paper and a pencil work just fine for me.
In fact, even with all the fancy tech stuff, you still need a piece of paper and a writing instrument every now and then.

never seen 6 headers that pointed down. ? Early A would just be tighter into the block to clear the more narrow platform.

I have that same style on a 65 B body slant six.
I think they are just referred to as 'Clifford Shorties'.
That looks to be an early style intake as well (floor of plenum has ribs).

I agree with Pishta. They are clifford shorties but the ones on my '62 don't point down on the back half. The rear half collector on mine is lower than the front half and points more rearward. I think they would be usable on a truck. Definitely won't fit my early "A".

Those are clifford truck headers, the front piece will fit A body and early a body, but that rear is for truck/a100 van so it wont work.
