Does anyone know or have experience with these headers?

Thanks in advance.

wow. thems some real johnny hot **** suckers there.

EGT provisions, evap bungs, slip collectors. probably for dyno or an open chassis car used in testing.

They are supposably A body headers from an old drag Car. They are definitely going to be Fender well headers.

Look like Hooker Super Comp W2s to me...
Three tubes under chassis, one tube out the fenderwell. Each side.

Early W2-W5 67-76 hooker Super Comp race headers. Later sets are 4 bolt and take adapters and will fit any head with the right adapters. Those are bolt on W2 W5 only flanges

That is what I was kinda thinking.

I wish They would fit in my 65 Barracuda but I dont think that is going to happen.

PBR had a set of my heads to port and since his passing, I am back at looking at my bare casting W2s,

I had a set of Hedman Husslers that had a single pipe on each side that that went through the inner fenderwell, down the back of the wheelwell and back over to the collector. Is that what these do?

That’s what it looks like.

A machinist can make an adapter to use those with a standard head.
And the rear tube is fenderwell on both sides.
If you haven't got w2's, I wouldn't bother, however.

Those are Hooker 5322’s.

If you can cut, drill and grind aluminum you can make adapter plates to use that on any head.

The only bad thing is one tube on each side goes through the fender.

If that doesn’t bother you those are probably still the best W2/5 header.

Once you poke a hole in each side of the inner fender for the rear tube on each side, they will be the easiest-to-install headers you'll ever find. Throw em in the car one or two tubes at a time.
Edit: I have virtually the same headers (hooker super comp adjustables) in my car, only the big block version.

My 65 barracuda has already had the fender wells cut.
Maybe these will shoe horn in there.

I put the center two tubes in first, from the bottom, 1 and 2 in from the top, and the flange for 7 and 8 in thru the hole in the fender. Bolt on the collector. And I made flanges and welded them on the collector for an exhaust system. Easy way is to buy the flanges from summit. About ten bucks if I remember right.
Mine were starting to get rusty, so I sent em out for coating, all eight pieces.

The issue is the early A's are much more narrow than the 68 and up stuff. So everything is squeezed in.

I love the early A's but that narrow frame makes everything that much harder to fit.

I once cut up a set of 5303 Hookers to make them into W2 headers form my 64 Barracuda. I wish never did it. Hooker will never make the 5303 or the 5322's again and that's a shame.

What did the coating cost and who did you have do it or recommend?
