Can someone suggest headers for my 416 stroker? 10.3 compression, ported 2.02/1.60 j-heads, Eddy tarantula intake, 1050 Holley 3-barrel. I know the TTI's are popular, but all I see are the 1 5/8 - 1 3/4 step headers. I was thinking that the 416 might do better with full 1 3/4 headers. What do you guys think? Does anyone make 1 3/4 headers for small blocks that won't break the bank?

For this car right? 1971 Demon

Well the TTI's are built very good, but they are kinda pricy too. I do not think you will see much HP loss with the short amount of step up in their headers.

I think Doug's makes a set, at least they used to..

1 3/4 full tubes are rather limiting. No headers for power steering that I know of.

Hooker Super Comps fit OK. They all will hang pretty low.

If it's primarily a street car, you have other issues to consider like ground clearance. Only real headers with decent ground clearance are Dougs 1 5/8" (D453, D453-R), tti are the steps

A race car only deal then Super Comps are a good choice because they don't require the fenderwells to be cut.
