    I bought a 68 formula S 383 4spd Cuda, original except for the fenderwell Hookers from a previous owner. I want to weld back in, the original patch panels that he cut out, & intall non-fenderwell headers.
    Are Hooker's available for this w/the 4 spd? Are the TTI's a better choice? What's the largest tube diameter that will work? Thanks for any info or advice. Buzz.

    TTIs are the only non fender well full length headers for BB, A bodies. they come in 1-3/4" and 2". If the car has power steering only the 1-3/4 will work.

    Adam, thanks for the info. It has manual steering & the motor seems to have been rebuilt to stock specs except for a Holley carb. Would there be a noticable difference in performance between the 1 3/4 & 2" headers w/ Flowmasters or Dynomax's? Thanks again.

    If its all stock the 1-3/4 pipes will make metter torque.

    i agree with adam 2" is real overkill on a stock 383..and tti fits god!
