I have a 1969 Barracuda with 45,000 original miles on it. It has some halogen headlights on it and I purchased some General Electric 6014 bulbs to make the car more original looking. When I replaced the halogen bulbs with the OEM 6014 bulbs and turned them on they started to smoke inside the bulb and lasted 2 minutes before they burned up. Why would the original 6014 bulbs burn up so fast? What am I missing here?
