headliner question

so i just had my headliner put in, and am wondering whats the deal with the a pillar. i dont recall ever having a trim peice there, but the headliner is gonna show right at the top. am i missing trim or is there another way to cover that up??

i dont recall ever seeing those on mine so maybe they were lost through the years. gotta go check the basement to make sure. might be looking for some in black if possible, or other colors if black doesnt come up.

so i looked at my pillars and theres no holes for the trim. i took some pics to show you what it looks like. the black peice hanging down is the headliner

I checked my 75 which has a hard board liner. It has caps on the pillars although a different style
