Anyone ever do their own headliner in a Fastback? I think I'm missing some sort of tensioner clips for the sides. Needless to say, a diagram would be incredibly helpful.

John, I do remember there being 2 clips on each side that holds the head liner up.
 
yes there are 2 or so clips per side that clamp it to the roof rail area. i happen to have extras (8) and i can send them to you. i got them from laysons and my upholstery guys used theirs. pm me if you want them.
 
I did mine myself and it turned out pretty good. I`d suggest laying it out for a week or more with weight on the folds. I regret not doing more insulating there on the roof but that`s water under the bridge. I used one clip per seam and several more at each end with lots of cement. Be patient and make sure you pull everything tight and you should end up with a nice job. I think the factory service manual had the play by play.
