Has anybody ever done a headliner in a 70 Dart? My question is the cardboard sail panel boards does the headliner get glued to it or are they there just to smooth out the headliner. I took them out but I can't remember.

I put one in my 70 Dart. Nothing gets glued to them. I think they are there to smooth things out like you said but dont realy know.

Here you go this will help some. Put it in the sun first or you will no be able to pull it tight.

The cardboard sail panels use 2 push in style clips to hold it in place.
