Find the resistor block which should be between the switch and blower motor, it might be on top of the heater box if I remember correctly. See if there is power before and after the resistor with the switch on. If you have power before, then it's likely the resistor. Resistor block failure is a common problem on any car but usually you see the blower works only on one speed, low and no high or vice versa. Block still could be bad though. If you do have power after the block, then you have a wiring problem between the resistor block and blower motor.

So if you have continuity through that resistor and that checks out okay see if you can run a jumper wire to the blower motor and power it up from the battery for second. If it powers up then you need to check your feed wiring back to the resistor. Remember also to check the blower motor ground. Turn on the switch and give it a good ground with a jumper or test light. If it powers up then you have a bad ground somewhere.

In many cars, the "blower high" position is too much current for the switches and melts them, especially as contacts get old and corroded. I wire my cars so that position just turns on a relay. But don't start pulling the switch until you find root cause with a multimeter.

Switch got replaced ten bucks too easy to not replace. No luck. Going to look for resistor next.
