Heater core

So apparently I don't know how to read, because despite owning the '67 service manual, I hooked my heater hoses up backwards. My question though, is does doing this make the car run any hotter? I'm pretty sure it makes all the crud thats been sitting in the heater box flow out into the motor at the very least..

The only way it could cause trouble is if you have an inline thermostatic flow control on it or something similar..........

I've done it before and haven't had a serious issue.....maybe someone else can chime in with their experience............8)

done it too and never had any problems at all.
