Ok just got back from the muffler shop to get a price on hanging my exhaust, well was I was shocked. i already have 3'' stainless steel pipes all i wanted was to have him bent them to fit and install.just to make it worth his while i would buy muffers off him, {flow master 40's} 500$ was his price.well i think i just got kiss off,But anyway i went back to reveiw post after post to try and find anything about some one installing summit or jegs brand header back exhaust systems with hedman headers i had no luck. so has anybody stalled these systems with these headers?? any problems to say of?

Thanks

I did on my Duster . It's in this; http://www.forabodiesonly.com/mopar/showthread.php?t=10508&page=4
Scroll down some. Not exactly detailed.

IMO, this kit is well worth the bucks. Fit together well and needed only a slight trimming at the tail pipe. You can get there kits with and without mufflers.

If you want to do a "H" pipe, this can be purchased seprately.

If you want an "X" pipe, again, it can be purchased seprately, but I think, it would be better not to purchase there kit if doing so. Just purchase the "X" pipe kit, add mufflers of choice and seek tail pipes.

Exhaust can be done cheaply!

I've got Hedman headers and TTI 2 1/2" w/ H pipe. It only took about 45 minutes to install from headers back. Fits GREAT! SOUNDS AWESOME!! TTI might be a bit pricier, but WELL worth it. They make a 3" system also.

Thanks Rumblefish for the link,My hedmans have the ball/socket instead of the flat flange. I see on summits web site they have the flared pipe to fit the headers,I will look at the TTI system also.i do have one more shop to talk to yet, i will see what what kind of price they give me tomorrow. thanks for the replies.

Swinger4me makes a good suggestion w/the tti stuff. Quick install huh swinger?

You have the headman elietes? (humm sp?) I have that set up on my big block headers.

Yes sir there the elites by hedman, they cost me a pretty penny, had them for a while seem to hold up very well though.Sorry not sure what sp? stands for.i looked at tti systems, flow master, dyno max.. prices do vary alot, i will see what the shop tells me tomorrow, i would hate to not use the pipes i already have. they were free so if i have to buy a pre bent system i will.

Stay away from the pypes system, there aren't any bends in the crossmember area, so that kit will have to be modified, i think there is a thread on it.

better off making your own

"SP" = spelling, as in, did I spell that right?
