HEI conversion, need help fast

I put this conversion on what I need is the part number or what to ask for at a parts store for the gm control module they cant figure it out. Pm me fast the cars out in the cold and wont fire. looks like a 8 pin.

D1906 and the like. Tell them to look up any 70-80's GMC truck/van.

What brand do you ask for?

No photos, but the 8-pin module is in the "small cap" or "computer" distributor in 85-95 GM V-8 trucks and to 93 cars. I prefer it because it has sealed connectors and a cable that connects direct to the GM "external" coil.
