Been working on a new project... 1948 Dodge Panel Truck with a 340 and 727 combo. Getting lots of good info from this site so I though I would join.
I also have a 1959 Royal with 361 B Block with 727 that I've had for several years now.

That truck almost looks like it's been shortened?? The car is Killer!!
 
The truck isn't shortened but the car is a couple feet longer than the truck!
I didn't think it had actually been shortened I just thought it was cool that it "looked" shortened from the factory. More pics of the "cool" land yacht please along with pics of the truck interior!!
 
Welcome, I feel like I have seen your panel truck somewhere before.

I bought a '35 Chevy from a guy in Spring about 20 years ago. Here it is after I chopped the top 3 inches and installed a Corvette 350 with overdrive automatic. It wasn't quite finished but man did it get some looks when I drove around. That color is Porsche Raspberry (1967/68).
