help-bucket seats in 68 barracuda

this may be a dumb ? to some but i gotta ask.did they put diff floor pans in for bucket seats and bench seats?mine has a bench seat and mounts on each side on a raised tapered rail.do the bucket mounts have a raised mount on the inside to allow for the rail on the outside?I`M CONFUSED!#-o
 
if u look closely in the middle of the floor u will see the 4 divets on each side stamped for bucket holes...drill the holes and then weld square reinforement plates on
 
I've seen those reinforcement plates available somewhere but can't find them again. Simple 1/8 " plate approx. 3" by 4" with a 1/2 hole drilled through center. 4 required at inboard holes only. Factory rolled the forward edges. I'll get a pic if you want. Cheers

I bought them when I converted from bench to buckets, but they are not necessary for a driver. They can easily be fabbed from scrap metal for next to nothing.
