Got a line on a 360 4 barrel Intake I'm thinkin about using on my 340 build for the Spacer. I need to make sure Its for a 360 and not a 318,...I'm out on the west coast(far from home), and I hate to ship a big hunk of metal back east that I can't use,...Anyone got part numbers for any and all mentioned?

................Y dont u just get 1 back east?............there is lots out there...or better yet get an aluminum 1....there is a very slim chance it is has 318 ports.............kim.......

I have a parts list from 1979. It shows the same 4v intake manifold for both engines - part No. 4100339, casting No. 4100340. It's from a '79 production weights chart and shows the weight at 49.5 lbs.

For the 2v, it shows 360 2v as 4100333/4100334 and 318-2v as 4100330/4100331

Not much luck back east in New England, Most of the old 360 mani's are long gone, thought about aluminum but I'm lookin for the factory look under the hood w/o the heat soak issues. (apparently thats an issue to some of the folks I talked to out here). Besides, the price is right, and the dad-in-law is gonna bring it and my front end parts back east for me this spring,.....another SCORE

Found an Intake with casting #3830945,...Supposed to be a cop intake,...got a date of 7/28/76 cast into it,...any info out there???

They are all pretty much the same, performance wise, after the EGR was added.

The only thing different is the later ('79 and up)? manifolds used a different thermostat and twisted it over to one side to clear the AC compressor. So, if you are looking for more of a stock look, try and find one with the stat in the center of the manifold.

If you are looking for the best, performance wise, try and score a 71 manifold without the EGR. There is a part number the SS guys look for, but I don't remember it. Seemed like it ended with 100 or something.

I have a non-EGR intake, but I cracked it screwing the bypass hose fitting into it. :-(

Shipped the latest one home via snail mail,..has the t-stat in the center, fortunatly Connecticut is emission exempt if your car is 25 years old or older,...so on goes the EGR block off plate,...I've also learned that when a car goes thru inspection, if it looks stock, DMV is less likely to bust your balls,...we'll see...

Found this page with a list of Mopar intake manifold casting numbers. It shows the one you mentioned in two places as a 1975-1976 and then again as a 1977.
