Help!! Flowmaster 40 series

This week i purchased a set of flowmaster 40 series for my dads 72 cuda 340. He has a set of dynomax ultraflows on them but we want more noise so are 40 series a good muffler and would give a lot more sound?

thats what i have on my 69 i am running 3 inch with a x pipe and the neighborhood hates how loud it is ,but sounds great
