help! it keep stalling on me at stop lights

hey I got a 73 Scamp with a /6 I had it park for about two weeks pulled it out for a spin around town when I notice that it keep stalling out on me at stoplights . It also at times when I am accelerating it will run fine then you will feel a lost in power like its about to die then you will have to easy off the gas then easy back on again so that it will not stall out. I was think it was water in the tank b/c it was ranning alot recently or accelerator pump but I pulled the air cleaner off and look at the cab while reving the engine and the spray of gas was good but it still died
what could it be the cab was rebuild last year

The loss of power problem is likely a fuel starvation issue ( you stomp the gas and the accelerator pump drains the float bowl so you have to let off to wait for it to fill. ) could also be ignition box but....

Could be bad fuel pump, cracked lines, incorrect float level, or plugged pickup or filter, among other things
