Help me find my home - lost 340

I have a 340 in my garage that I ended up with a couple of years and I am just curious if its original "home" is still around or on the road. It's a mid 1972 motor - casting date 5-31-72.

VIN # is 3G266933.

It ended up in West Michigan so who know where this may have come from.

Please let me know if you have the match for this VIN.

With the 3 in the beginning, it is a 73 motor.

Also the front drives side directly below the cyl head there is a stamped head and there are more numbers.

I voted - great idea!!!!! I have a NOM 1970 340 in my 70 duster I bought this fall too. I'm not sure if I want to build that or build me a 360. The 340 has X heads on it, but I have 3 sets of J heads to play with too! LOL! I'd part with either motor if I coudl find the original car owner to mate them back up.
